Founded in 2006, this boundary-breaking dance company evolved from the Alvin Ailey dance troupe, where principal dancers Dwight Rhoden and Desmond Richardson realized their choreographic dreams with the birth of a new company and a unique whole-body training approach.   In the decades since its inception, Complexions established a world-class name through dynamic, bold works that reflect the culture and struggles of the modern African American, fusing ballet, contemporary and street dance.
